The End of the Road
Homer is at the end of Alaska’s highway system, and it is a great place to “end” up! The views are spectacular, and there is plenty to do. Plus, with so many accommodation options, a good time is a sure thing. For a truly unique experience, consider booking one of the quirky rooms at the Alaska Adventure Cabins — I’d vote for the docked ship. However, you can’t go wrong with any of the more traditional hotels either, the best overall would be Homer Inn & Spa in my opinion. The people in Homer are friendly, and the views are good from basically everywhere!
