At Silvan Safari, we’re surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Sabi Sand Game Reserve, the grand leadwood trees, incredible wildlife and charismatic people who bring our story to life. These distinctive ingredients bring that characteristic magic to the entire Silvan experience. And as 2022 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible year we’ve had.

A Silvan Safari Year for the Books

2022 has been a truly special year for Silvan Safari. We’ve had many great sightings, from Tiyani, the majestic leopard, strolling through our lodge to a baby elephant being born just a stone’s throw away from our breakfast deck. Therefore, we can safely say there has been no shortage of exceptional moments at Silvan Safari this year!

In addition to these momentous occasions, we’ve also had the honour of being named the World’s Leading Luxury Lodge for the fifth consecutive year! This recognition is a testament to our staff’s hard work and dedication, who always strive to provide the best possible luxury safari experience for our guests.

We were also delighted to welcome back many new and familiar faces. Their positive experiences make our hearts sing and are a constant reminder of why we love what we do.

A Time of Gratitude

At Silvan Safari, we’re committed to not only creating incredible safari experiences but also to leaving a lasting legacy that inspires and uplifts. This year, we continued to work with organisations such as the Good Work Foundation and Wildlife Act, who share our passion for conservation and making a positive impact on the world around us.

We’re grateful for our Silvan family’s support and the return to normalcy after the challenging past few years. It’s been wonderful to see our guests enjoying their Silvan experiences and to have our staff able to do what they love again.

Our amazing Silvan Safari team love what they do and they always do it with a smile on their faces!

See You Next Year!

As we look forward to the new year, we feel fortunate for all our amazing guests, staff and wildlife who call Silvan Safari home. We can’t wait to see what new adventures and unforgettable wildlife encounters await us in 2023. Wishing you all a happy and safe holiday season, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Silvan Safari next year.
